I am desperately hanging on to summer. I love the warm weather and not having to dip into my admittedly limited winter wardrobe. I was born and lived in Far North Queensland until I was 14 where it is very humid. I then moved to the Gold Coast which isn’t as humid but equally as warm. This means my blood is so thin that just sitting in an air-conditioned car makes my feet and hands go purple.

Luckily for me until last weekend the weather was still warm enough for me to dress as though it’s still summer.
When I saw this orange top, it screamed “icy poles! beach towels! sunshine!” And so I paired it with my big straw hat and white to keep it bright and fresh and summery. Unfortunately these photos don’t do the colour of my top justice, but it was happy and fun. I can’t wait for November this year, when I can dig out all these clothes again.
