I’ve said it before but it bears repeating: I’m seriously in love with the combination of white, blue and tan. There’s just something so clean and fresh about this timeless combination.
It’s even better if you can find the right combination of clothes to wear. Relaxed, slightly looser tops are always perfect paired with skinny jeans or a skirt. Dresses that say “laid-back-summer-day” with a shift fit and can be worn equally well with white sneakers or tan sandals, these are the kinds of pieces I have a real soft sport for and great difficulty staying away from.
So what do you think I did when I walked past the window of Seed Heritage (which, by the way, is a veritable temple for exactly the kinds of clothes I’m talking about) and saw this top? Contrary to popular belief, I exercised a huge and uncharacteristic amount of self-restraint and kept walking.
But I kept thinking about it, and when I went back to Seed to get it, I realised that everyone else had the same idea. It took five Seed shops to track this down in my size (as I refuse to turn to online shopping), but was well worth it in the end.
There’s a reason clothes like this are so popular. Comfortable, stylish, a little bit pretty and a whole lot versatile, this is exactly the sort of thing you need in your wardrobe.
