I LOVE summer clothes. I know I have maybe mentioned that once (or a thousand) times before, but seriously, who can resist all these gorgeous pieces in sorbet shades that keep hitting shelves everywhere.
You may have noticed that I’ve been wearing a lot of Seed Heritage lately. It’s been a go-to of mine for a few seasons, but this year they have catapulted themselves right up to the number one spot on my list of favourite shops.
They just do summer fashion so well, and if I thought I was a big fan of the blues, whites and neutrals from last year, it’s nothing on the lemon yellows, candied pinks and perfect peaches they are trotting out this year. Plus every piece seems to have a little bit of froufrou detailing that I favour in my clothing choices.

Perhaps my favourite of all of these pieces is this little skirt and top set I picked up a few weeks ago. Is it green, is it blue? It’s that whimsical sea foam colour, and every time I look at this set, with its layers of frothy lace, I’m reminded of mermaids and underwater grottos.
I decided to complete this look with a mixture of silver, rose gold and pearls that look like they’ve spilt straight from Arial’s treasure chest.
What can I say? I’m a sucker for all things fantastical and this outfit just brings creatures of the deep to mind.
