If you’ve read this blog before, you know I’m crazy about colour. Every so often though, I think fresh, clean white cannot be beat for elegance and youthful vibrancy.
I suppose this is why I’ve always been drawn to white tops (as stated in my last post, I have accumulated quite the collection). I also have a few Little White Dresses that I just love. It’s easier, I think, for me to find dresses I like in white than in black.
Too often, I think people think that black should equal tight or sexy, and that’s just not my style. I’ll always champion softer, flowing fabrics and more conservative silhouettes, and white seems to lend itself to that.

I tried to resist this dress, I really did. But it pulled my eye every time, and I couldn’t help falling in love with those billowy sleeves and of course, the delicate floral pattern.
I guess I got inspired by the Spring Racing Carnival, and ended up pairing it with heels the day we shot this, but it’s also perfect with nude ballet flats, metallics or delicate black heeled sandals.
