Cult Florals

Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve scoured fashion magazines and cut out pictures of pieces and outfits I liked. Something I noticed from looking back on the scrapbooks I made over the years is that I favour clothes with a bit of a bohemian vibe.

Which is strange as I am neither confident nor comfortable enough to explore boho or add it to my wardrobe.

Enter cult label Spell and the Gypsy Collective. I have never been one to subscribe to cult fashions, but there is a reason for Spell’s popularity. Their clothes are bohemian in the chicest way possible, the colours are gorgeous and I know it sounds ridiculous, but every design just has so much personality.

I’ve just returned to work after a four week holiday. I don’t think I’ve ever had such an opportunity to play with my wardrobe, and day-in, day-out, I found myself pulling out my Spell pieces. They let me dabble in a slightly bohemian look without making me feel like a fraud- I mean, the clothes are so good you just have to add ankle boots and you’re good to go!
