The Colour Of Spring

Saturday marked the first day of Spring for us in Australia, and I couldn’t be happier. It seems that everywhere I go, clothes are popping up in a beautiful shade of lilac, which couldn’t be more perfect for the season. Instead of the millennial pinks of 2017, the trend has shifted slightly to petal pinks and another colour that sits right on the border of pink and purple.

Whether you want to dress head-to-toe or just add a little feminine touch to a fresh white look, there are pieces out there for every one. I had been eyeing off some floating, mid-length skirts when I came across this Zulu and Zephyr dress.

Although it was the colour that first got my attention, I quickly fell in love with the double-breasted detail and linen fabric- my favourite for the warmer months. It’s the perfect easy Sunday piece, but I know I’ll be reaching for it over and over again as the days warm up, and not just on the weekend.

Dress, Zulu and Zephyr, Sneakers, Superga, Backpack, Forever New (similar here), Earrings, Pandora (also love these), Necklace, Sarah and Sebastian (similar here)

This jacket and these shorts (also linen) and this skirt, these shoes and this top are a few of my favourite pieces in this gorgeous shade. Could this be the colour of 2018? Time will tell.
