Hi everyone! Jarrad and I had a date night a few weeks ago, and I haven’t had time to get this outfit up until now.
As it’s the middle of summer here, and some days are just so hot and humid that you can feel your make up melting off your face, I wanted to wear something cool and breezy.
I found these pleated culottes over the summer holidays. They were fluttering as they hung on the rack, blown by a pedestal fan, and I thought it was a skirt.
There was a matching top, but on my it just hung way too low, so I set off in search of the perfect pairing.
This top is by Joslin Studio, an Australian brand that has absolutely nailed the juxtaposition between minimalist styles and feminine details.
I love the fresh linens and simplicity of all their pieces, and luckily this top, with its soft layers and breezy bow, was the perfect compliment to my culottes.
I added gold shoes and a clutch, and because I was feeling a distinct Grecian vibe, turquoise jewellery.
