Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful long weekend. Mine has been a fairly quiet one, but yesterday I did have my sister and her boyfriend over for an Easter brunch. The whole thing was citrus themed, from the table runner and plates to the food I baked. Considering there is so much fun kitchen ware stuff out there at the moment, I thought I’d share some of my finds, plus the recipes I made, with you all.
I found my table runner, napkins, dinner plates and salad plates at Williams Sonoma. I’ve always loved citrus-inspired things, and I just thought these were so fresh and fun. My vases are from West Elm, because yellow is absolutely perfect for an Easter table, and the pink glass ware is a favourite of mine from Amazon. The mini ramekins and casserole dishes are Le Creuset, and the big pink serving platters are Wheel and Barrow.
I made Sweet Laurel’s Clementine Olive Oil Cake. It is absolutely delicious with a subtle flavour and a soft, spongy texture. To add a different citrus element to the table, I also made Lemon Linzer Cookies, and filled them with this Lemon Curd, which I find to be super tangy, bright and delicious.
