When I was growing up, jeans were a very functional part of my wardrobe. I wore them when the weather got too cold to wear shorts or dresses, and they were usually just casual pants that got thrown on with a sweater. What they were not was fashionable.
I’ve always appreciated frills, ruffles and layers, so when I caught wind of this skirt, I felt like I needed to put it on and start a conga line around the shop.
I really believe that an outfit is made by the little details. If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you’ll realise that as well as my love of jewellery, I’ve got a soft spot for eccentric accessories that make my outfits all my own.
My favourite part of fashion magazines has always been the editorials. The first time I ever saw one (and paid attention) was in a Vogue Australia- April 2007 to be exact.
