I should really be padding out my winter wardrobe at this time of year. In a few weeks I’ll be in Sydney (which is significantly colder than where I live), and I’ll be needing scarves, boots and knitwear.
Summer is usually my favourite season. Long days, more ice cream, time with my family and Christmas mean I spend most of the rest of the year looking forward to it.
It must be said, I haven’t owned a backpack since my last day of school over 12 years ago. In the years since I’ve probably had Occassion to use every other type of bag known to man, but never a backpack.
Ok- it’s official. I am totally done with Summer. If all days were going to be warm, with clear blue skies and gentle breezes, I’d be fine.
We don’t really have Autumn and Spring in Australia. Our two seasons, warm and hot, also known as Winter and Summer, seem to fade into one another without much fanfare.
