I’ve had this skirt in my wardrobe for a while. I bought it on impulse because.. well really, how could I not? It’s so swishy and floaty and PINK and looked right at home hanging in my wardrobe.
There are a lot of trends that hold court in my wardrobe, but I have to admit to being partial to white lace. I love the delicacy it brings to any garment, and more often than not it also lends a by-gone era vibe.
If you’ve read this blog before, you know I’m crazy about colour. Every so often though, I think fresh, clean white cannot be beat for elegance and youthful vibrancy.
I have always been a sucker for white tops and shirts. There are more in my wardrobe than anything else. They are the staple item I just can’t go past, and with so many amazing variations, I can’t never pick a favourite.
And just like that, Winter is over for us in the Southern Hemisphere. We didn’t really have any Arctic blasts this year anyway, but there’s still a noticeable difference is the air.

I think I recently mentioned in a post that teenaged-me had a bit of a penchant for bright, colourful things with a South American vibe. I would see tasseled sandals, woven bags, shoulder-length earrings and chunky necklaces, and cart them all home only to let them sit in my wardrobe and gather dust. You see…
